Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna.
Internship in the Department of Orthopedics of Prof. T. Sculco at the Hospital For Special Surgery of New York (USA) dealing with prosthetic surgery of the hip, knee and spine.
Later he worked at the Operative Unit of Orthopedics and Traumatology (Dir. Dr. G. Vicenzi) in Imola (BO); Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology (Dir. Dr. M. Laus) of the S. Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic of Bologna; the IV and VII Divisions of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute of Bologna (Dir. Prof. A. Giunti) and the department of “Joint revision surgery and new implants”, dealing with reconstructive and corrective joint surgery of the knee and ankle / foot, both traditionally and arthroscopically.
Since 2016 he has been working as a freelancer in Bologna dealing with reconstructive and arthroscopic surgery of the lower limb and regenerative medicine.
